How to treat pediatric snoring

If a child has snoring symptoms, first observe whether the child has swollen tonsils in the throat. Streptococcal infection causes swollen tonsils in the throat, which may block the airway and produce snoring symptoms when lying down and resting. Oral anti-inflammatory drugs such as amoxicillin granules and erythromycin granules are good for eliminating tonsillar enlargement. Acute tonsillitis can be effectively controlled by taking antibiotics for about 5-7 days continuously. If the snoring is not caused by enlarged tonsils, it is likely to be related to the abnormal physiological structure of the throat area, such as hyperplasia of the proliferators, and surgery can be considered to solve the problem when appropriate after getting a little older.
