Cervical polycysts usually do not go away by themselves.
Cervical cysts are usually caused by the stimulation of inflammation and other factors, which leads to the blockage of the opening of the cervical gland ducts. Mucus and other substances secreted by the cervical glands will be blocked in the opening of the gland ducts, and cysts will gradually form.
Normally, the retained mucus cannot be discharged from the blocked glandular duct orifice, nor can it be absorbed by itself, so cervical polycystic cysts usually do not disappear on their own. The cysts will not go away on their own and may grow in size as more mucus collects.
Multiple cervical cysts are generally benign and do not cause cervical lesions or menstrual abnormalities. Therefore, small cervical cysts usually do not require treatment. If the cervical cysts are too large or cause discomfort, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time and take microwave, laser or surgical treatment.
