Liver Qi Stagnation Massage Points

Liver qi stagnation (poor transportation of qi and blood in the liver, depression) can be treated with massage by choosing liver meridian acupoints such as Taichong, Xingmai, Zhangmen, period, etc., as well as bile meridian acupoints such as Yanglingquan, foot Linsui, etc.. Liver qi stagnation common chest (chest and rib area collectively) swelling and pain, depression, sighing and female menstrual disorders, breast swelling and pain and other symptoms. Massage acupoints can be selected from the liver meridian points such as Xingma and Taichong points on the feet and Zhangmen and Ximen points on the chest and ribs to unblock the liver meridian qi; and from the gallbladder meridian points such as Linchen on the feet and Yanglingquan on the legs to pacify and unblock the liver and to relieve stagnation through unblocking the qi flow. Acupressure massage can be used to clear the meridians and regulate qi. Acupoints should be selected and operated by professionals, not unauthorized use.
