What’s wrong with fluid in the uterus?

The presence of fluid in the uterus is considered to be uterine fluid, which may be a normal physiological phenomenon, or it may be caused by diseases such as uterine adhesions, endometritis, and other diseases such as endometrial polyps.
1. Physiological phenomenon: under normal circumstances, there is a small amount of fluid in the uterine cavity itself, usually the amount of fluid within 5mm, is a normal physiological phenomenon.
2. Uterine adhesion: Uterine adhesion is considered to be caused by endometrial trauma, infection and other factors, and the main symptoms of patients are reduced menstruation, cyclic abdominal pain, amenorrhea and so on. Uterine adhesion will block the patient’s menstrual blood discharge, which will lead to the phenomenon of fluid in the uterine cavity.
3. Endometritis: Endometritis is caused by trauma to the lining of the uterus as well as bacterial infection, and patients will experience lower abdominal pain, leucorrhea, and increased menstrual flow. Patients with endometritis will have inflammatory exudate, so it will lead to fluid in the uterus.
4. Other: endometrial polyps, uterine fibroids, cervical cancer and other diseases can lead to the phenomenon of fluid in the uterus.
If the symptoms of fluid in the uterus are normal, no treatment is needed. If the fluid is caused by diseases, patients should consult a doctor in time and follow the doctor’s instructions to choose the appropriate measures for treatment.
