Does autism show up in infancy?

Autism starts in infancy, and its cause is unknown. It can show social interaction disorder, language communication disorder, narrow interests, stereotyped behavior, sensory-motor disorder and other symptoms in infancy.
1. Social interaction disorder: it can be manifested as avoidance of parental gaze and lack of response to the calls of parents and other relatives.
2. Language communication disorders: infants and toddlers have delayed language development, including few facial expressions and gestures for communication.
3. Narrow interest and stereotyped behavior: narrow interest, not interested in common toys, but may show continuous interest in a certain kind of object, and may continue to play with it for several minutes.
4. Sensory-motor disorders: numbness to pain and stimulation, and unresponsiveness to loud noises.
5. Other symptoms: such as sleep disorders and emotional instability.
Once such symptoms appear, the family must cause enough attention, and as soon as possible to the medical examination, symptomatic treatment.
