The difference between Wang’s Baochi Pills and Baohe Pills lies in their different composition, efficacy and main treatment. Wang’s Baochi Pill is composed of Huanglian, Rhubarb, etc., with the efficacy of removing stagnation, strengthening the spleen and removing phlegm, it can be used for children’s breast milk stagnation and noma, phlegm-convulsive and frightening wind (pediatric diseases mainly manifested by fainting, twitching, and convulsions), wheezing, coughing and phlegm sounding, reduction of breast milk and food, vomiting and diarrhea and fever, constipation, colds and flu in all seasons and the spleen and stomach are weak and stunted, etc; it also has the effect of the adults who are not clear of the stomach and intestine and who have blockage of phlegm and food.
