Ovarian cyst with septum means that the cyst contains septum, which divides the cyst into several cavities; without septum means that there is no septum in the cyst and the cyst has only one cavity. 1. For cysts with septum, it is necessary to be vigilant for the occurrence of malignant lesions, so the blood flow signals of the septum are further examined. If the septum has abnormally increased high velocity and low resistance blood flow signals, it tends to be malignant, and vice versa, it tends to be benign. 2. For non-partitioned ovarian cysts, if the diameter does not exceed 5cm and the echogenicity is uniform, they are considered to be physiological cysts, and regular rechecking is usually sufficient; if the echogenicity is found to be sediment-like or localized star pattern strong echogenicity, then we should be alert to the occurrence of ovarian chocolate cysts or teratomas. For patients with ovarian cysts, it is recommended that they go to the hospital, improve the tumor markers and other related tests as needed, and then take active treatment under the guidance of the doctor after clarifying the cause of the disease.
