A particularly itchy face may be caused by dry skin, skin allergies and other conditions.
1. Dry skin: If the patient’s facial skin is dehydrated, resulting in dry skin, slightly exposed to cold wind or sunlight, may cause redness, swelling, pain and itching symptoms, commonly found in winter when the climate is relatively dry.
2. Skin allergy: After skin allergy, there will be obvious itching symptoms on the face, which may also be accompanied by a tingling sensation, and there may be oozing after scratching. The causes of allergy include the use of irritating cosmetics, contact with willow or pollen in the spring, applying some kind of medication on the face, or applying some kind of plaster.
It is recommended that patients with particularly itchy faces should go to the hospital in a timely manner, under the guidance of a physician, to clarify the cause and then give targeted treatment.
