1. Normal phenomenon: the material of keratoplasty lens is relatively hard, if you wear it for the first time, there may be a more obvious foreign body sensation, the eyes do not adapt to it, resulting in eye pain after wearing it, which is generally a normal phenomenon and will be relieved after wearing it for a period of time.
2. Corneal epithelial damage: patients with keratoplasty lenses worn for a period of time, there is a stinging pain in the eyes, may be keratoplasty lenses caused by corneal epithelial damage and pain, it is recommended that patients pause to wear keratoplasty lenses, and the use of recombinant human epidermal growth factor eye drops under the guidance of a doctor, sodium vitreous oxide drops and other therapeutic relief.
3. Keratitis: eye pain after wearing keratoplasty lenses may also be caused by keratitis, which is commonly caused by improper care of keratoplasty lenses, resulting in eye infections, leading to eye pain. It is recommended that patients use medication under the guidance of a doctor, commonly used drugs such as tobramycin eye drops.
In case of eye pain when wearing Ortho-K, it is recommended to stop wearing Ortho-K lenses and go to the hospital for consultation, after clarifying the cause, and then take reasonable medication and standardized treatment according to the doctor’s instruction.
