Why do you have bumps on your nipples?

Flesh bumps on nipples may be caused by folliculitis, sebaceous cysts, or may be caused by benign tumors or malignant tumors.
1. Folliculitis: Folliculitis may be the cause of bumps on the nipple. Folliculitis is mainly a purulent inflammation caused by pore obstruction, and localized redness, swelling and pain.
2. sebaceous cysts: nipple bumps may also be sebaceous cysts. When sebaceous cysts are combined with infections, bacteria will gather along the openings of sebaceous glands and multiply in the sebaceous glands, releasing internal and external toxins, leading to sebaceous cyst infections, which are characterized by redness, swelling, fever and pain.
3. Benign tumors: Benign tumors are characterized by soft texture, good mobility and clear boundary with surrounding tissues. Surgical resection is curable. Clinical common benign tumors are lipoma, fibroma, skin polyps and so on.
4. Malignant tumors: clinically, malignant tumors are also very common. Common tumor for nipple eczema-like cancer, often manifested as unilateral nipple, areola and its surrounding itching, burning sensation, red patchy eczema-like appearance, the surface of the more oozing crust or keratinized flaking, when serious, can form ulcers.
In the case of flesh bumps on the nipple, the lesion should be removed and pathologically examined. If the diagnosis is clear, the treatment plan should be determined according to the appropriate clinical staging.
