(1) Stimulus control training: It belongs to a kind of behavioral therapy, which is mainly a means to help insomnia patients reduce sleep-irrelevant behaviors and establish regular sleep-wake patterns. The following points are required: treat the bed as a sleeping place, establish the conditioned reflex between sleep and bed, like drooling when seeing food; go to bed only when you feel sleepy; do not engage in non-sleep-related activities in bed; when it is difficult to fall asleep or wake up midway and cannot fall back to sleep (20 minutes after waking up), get up immediately and go to another room until sleepiness comes and then return to bed; regardless of the quality of sleep Regardless of the quality of sleep, we must get up on time and avoid sleeping during the day. (2) Sleep quantification therapy: The main purpose is to make the insomniac reduce the non-sleep time in bed and increase the effective sleep time. The specific method is: if the patient’s time in bed is 9 hours per night, but the actual sleep time is 5.5 hours, that is, reduce the patient’s time in bed to 5.5 hours by delaying going to bed or getting up earlier, and then increase the patient’s time in bed by 15 minutes per week and get up at a fixed time every morning to ensure that at least 85%-90% of the time in bed is used for sleep. (3) Ambivalent intention training: Some people are always worried about not being able to sleep, now the opposite is done, mainly to convince patients to force themselves to be in a waking state. If the insomniac tries to stay awake and reduce the excessive efforts made to fall asleep, their tension and anxiety will be gradually reduced as a result, and their insomnia symptoms will improve. (4) Other therapies: Suggestive therapy is suitable for insomnia patients with strong suggestibility. Usually, certain nutritional drugs are chosen as placebo with suggestive language to induce patients to sleep; various fitness techniques (qigong, yoga, taijiquan) and music therapy can also be used. Through the above four methods, patients are guided to develop good sleep hygiene habits and gradually correct the sleep-wake procedure so that it conforms to the usual circadian rhythm and thus obtain satisfactory sleep quality.
