Psoriasis treatment miscellany

My department is the dermatology department of a grassroots tertiary Chinese hospital. Psoriasis is not new to us at all, and we naturally have some experience when we deal with psoriasis patients more often.
The first question: is psoriasis difficult to treat? It is not difficult to cure. It is difficult to say that he is difficult to treat because this disease is not curable at present, as we all basically know. Some people have counted at least hundreds of treatments for psoriasis, but unfortunately none of them are perfect, and there are always limitations of one kind or another. What can we do? We can only choose and adjust the method we think is appropriate according to the patient’s condition and physical status. It is said that he is not difficult to treat because most patients’ conditions are manageable and basically perfect skin can be expected.         The second question: those patients whose condition is not easily controllable? Personal experience is that of the obviously anxious, eagerly seeking a cure, patients who bounce from hospital to hospital and clinic to clinic. Why? There is a course of treatment for psoriasis, so frequent changes in treatment methods are not beneficial, and nervous and anxious emotions are not conducive to the recovery of psoriasis. Since our department launched the “psoriasis patient home” activity in 2008, several patients who have been in contact with us for a long time have improved their quality of life significantly, which is proof of this.
The third question: I’ll leave it to you to ask your patients.
