Postoperative considerations after cold knife conization include postoperative care, management of common complications, and postoperative follow-up. Patients should eat high-protein, vitamin-rich and easy-to-digest food and avoid spicy food after discharge from the hospital. In addition, they should pay attention to rest, stay in bed as much as possible and refrain from strenuous activities and heavy physical activities. The more common complications after conization include postoperative bleeding, pelvic infection, cervical adhesions and cervical insufficiency. Long-term close follow-up after cervical conization should be performed to prevent recurrence, which is recommended every three months in the first year after surgery, every six months in the second year, and annually thereafter.
