Cefaclor is a semi-synthetic cephalosporin antibiotic, which plays a role by inhibiting the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall, and is mainly used for bronchitis, pneumonia, pharyngolaryngitis, otitis media, tonsillitis, cystitis, gonorrhea, and pyelonephritis caused by sensitive bacteria. The drug may interact with furosemide, clavulanic acid, bumetanide, probenecid, and cross-allergic reactions with penicillins or cephalexin. Use with caution in the following cases: hypersensitivity to penicillins, penicillamine, penicillin derivatives, cephamycin; history of gastrointestinal disorders, especially restrictive enteritis, ulcerative colitis, antibiotic-associated colitis; pregnant women and lactating women.
