Excision, mediastinal lymph node contouring

  A 61-year-old male patient with a central squamous carcinoma of the upper lobe of the left lung involving the lower lobe bronchi, lower pulmonary veins and pericardium was removed by complete resection of the left whole lung with a small incision, and a total of 11 groups of 30 lymph nodes were contoured. The patient recovered well after the operation and was discharged on the seventh day.
