Is thymoma type a serious?

Thymoma type a histologic typing is in the low-risk group. If treated aggressively, the prognosis is generally good.
Pathological examination of thymoma type a reveals: spindle-shaped epithelial cells of unremarkable heterogeneity (at least focal), and no or only a few immature (TdT-positive) T cells throughout the tumor. When the tumor grows relatively fast, it can compress the surrounding tissues with symptoms such as chest tightness, panic, shortness of breath, cough, etc., go to the hospital in time.
Through X-ray, CT, MRI examination, puncture biopsy if necessary to clarify the condition, take surgical resection as early as possible, and post-surgical pathological tests to determine the type and stage of the tumor, and to clarify whether radiotherapy. Regular review of the film is needed to understand the changes of the condition and to see whether there is any recurrence, and it is necessary to strengthen the exercise and enhance the immunity of the body.
If thymoma type A is found, further treatment in thoracic surgery is needed.
