Comparison of the use of different procedures in adenoidectomy

[Abstract] Objective To compare the application of different procedures in adenoidectomy. Methods 480 patients were randomly paired into three groups. The first group used adenoidectomy by adenoidectomy apparatus. The second group used transnasal nasal endoscopic combined with electric cutter adenoidectomy. The third group used adenoidectomy with transoral nasal endoscopy combined with electric cutter adenoidectomy. The incidence of postoperative complications in the three groups was 7.6% in 170 cases in the first group, 7.5% in 12 cases in 160 cases in the second group, and 7.3% in 11 cases in 150 cases in the third group, with no significant difference (x2 test, P > 0.05). The focus of postoperative complications occurred differently in the three groups. The most common postoperative complication was bleeding, and the incidence was significantly higher in the first group than in the second and group; the less common postoperative complication was soft palate paralysis, and the third and second groups were significantly higher than the first group, and the difference was statistically significant (P
