For patients with renal failure, albumin can be infused, but clinically it is limited to the following two cases: First, for patients with renal failure before dialysis, if there is severe edema and the effect of using high-dose diuretics is not good, in order to improve the plasma colloid osmotic pressure and thus improve the diuretic effect of diuretics, albumin can be infused intravenously for a short time. Secondly, for uremic patients with renal failure combined with heart failure, when the effect of cardiotonic and diuretic is not good and the patient is combined with hypoproteinemia, intravenous infusion of albumin can be used to increase the plasma colloid osmotic pressure and improve the diuretic effect of diuretics, thus relieving the patient’s heart failure.
