There are two main types of redness on the sides of the nose: one is seborrheic dermatitis; the other is rosacea. Seborrheic dermatitis can be caused by a number of factors, including lifestyle and localized inflammation of the skin, and the individual’s skin type. Conditions such as late nights, irregular work and rest, poor rest, and lack of sleep can all lead to seborrheic dermatitis. The usual skin types are usually normal, oily and dry. Usually people with seborrheic dermatitis may be prone to seborrheic dermatitis around the nose which is an oily skin area. There are also dietary factors such as a love of sweets, greasy, spicy and irritating foods that can trigger or aggravate seborrheic dermatitis. The second condition is rosacea, commonly known as rosacea, which in some patients is associated with trichinella. Follicular worms, also commonly known as mites, can be examined microscopically. There are also endocrine causes of rosacea, as well as localized skin inflammation.
