The effects of Dialyunzhuang are to brighten the eyes and reduce cataracts (to improve vision and blurred vision), reduce swelling and pain (to eliminate swelling and pain), and detoxify and disperse toxins and nodules, with occasional side effects such as eye pain, redness, swelling, itching, and so on. Dialyunzhuang is a kind of Chinese patent medicine, the main ingredients of which include fortified glycerine, ice tablet, gentian infusion and so on. It can be used to treat outbreaks of fire eye (i.e. infectious conjunctivitis, also known as red eye), itching and tearing of the eyes, redness and swelling of the eyes, stinging pain of gua sha eyes, pterygium and other conditions when applied to the eyes; the drug can also be taken by mouth for the treatment of redness and swelling of the throat and tongue, swollen and painful gums, and other conditions. Allergic to any component of the drug, pregnant women and other prohibited, athletes should be used with caution; during the use of the drug should be avoided spicy, fishy food, avoid smoking and alcohol.
