What is the method used for minimally invasive Korean double eyelid surgery?

Traditional double eyelid surgery consists of open and sutured procedures. Open eyelid surgery is to make a line wound on the eyelid about 3~4 cm long. The advantage of this surgery is that the effect can be maintained permanently, but because the wound is large and requires more local anesthetic, the swelling is more puffy and slower to go down. The sutured surgery only creates 3-5 punctiform wounds on the eyelids, and is suitable for single eyelids with thin eyelids and less fat, or eyes with one pair of single, one big and one small. This surgery is short, and because no tissue is removed, there is almost no scarring, so it only takes 2 to 3 days for the swelling to go down significantly, and after the surgery, there is no need to remove stitches to recover completely natural, so it is a surgery that is generally quite acceptable to people. However, some people may have their eyelids become lighter or disappear within three to six months due to suture absorption, which is the only drawback of this surgery. The Korean minimally invasive double eyelid surgery is between sutured surgery and open double eyelid surgery. It can be imagined that minimally invasive double eyelid is to create three small discontinuous line wounds on the eyelid, each small wound is only about 0.2~0.3 cm in length. It is also possible to remove the fat from the bubble at the same time. Therefore, except for eyelids that are too loose, this type of double eyelid surgery is suitable for young people in general. This type of double eyelid not only has a natural and beautiful line, the effect can be permanently maintained, but also has a small wound, requires less local anesthesia, and the swelling goes down quickly, thus the recovery period is greatly reduced to 3~5 days.
