Allergic nasal erosions are most often caused by allergic rhinitis, which is a chronic inflammatory disease of the nasal mucosa that is triggered by exposure to allergens in atopic individuals.
The first step is to avoid further exposure to allergens and to seek prompt medical attention to diagnose the disease through an anterior rhinoscopy or nasal endoscopy and to identify the allergen(s) responsible for the allergic reaction and follow medical advice.
If it is not possible to seek medical attention in time, you can first rinse or gently wipe the eroded surface with saline or low concentration light saline at home, or apply a wet compress as appropriate, followed by applying an appropriate amount of vegetable oil or erythromycin ointment to the wounded surface to relieve the symptoms. If the discomfort such as redness, swelling and pain on the wounded surface increases, the medication should be stopped immediately and medical attention sought in time to prevent an allergic reaction.
