Firstly, it may be that the medication or treatment currently being used is treating the symptoms but not the root cause, and that nasal mucosal erosions and bleeding tend to recur and remain untreated if the primary nasal disease has not been eradicated. The next consideration is whether there is a haematological disorder such as platelet agglutination disorder or leukaemia. In either case, if the nasal bleeding is persistent, it is important to go to the hospital for further examination and treatment and not to use any medication to stop the bleeding.
