Lidocaine allergy rescue methods: First, if lidocaine allergy is found during the infusion process, the infusion should be stopped immediately and replaced by saline drip. Also let the patient lie down, give oxygen, cardiac monitoring, and closely observe the vital signs. Second, give anti-allergy drugs, commonly used is Benadryl. Thirdly, give glucocorticoids, such as dexamethasone or methylprednisolone for anti-allergic and anti-shock effects. Fourth, if symptoms of anaphylaxis occur, accompanied by coma and decreased blood pressure, epinephrine can be applied to deal with it. Fifth, if malignant arrhythmia caused by lidocaine occurs, ventricular fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia are treated immediately with electric defibrillation. If more serious symptoms occur, such as respiratory and cardiac arrest, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, tracheal intubation and other resuscitation treatments should be given immediately.
