In the late stage of rectal cancer in female patients, there will be tumor invasion, which will easily involve the adjacent organs or pelvis. Patients will show pain in the lower abdomen and perianal pain, which cannot be controlled by ordinary pain medication, and will also be accompanied by blood in the bowel movement and unformed stool. The tumor may also develop metastasis of lymph nodes in the pelvis or inguinal region, resulting in restriction of deep vein return in the lower limbs, complicated by deep vein thrombosis in the lower limbs, and obvious edema, congestion, and even tense blisters in the limbs. In advanced stage of rectal cancer, one can also choose palliative surgery to perform abdominal wall fistula to solve the problem of defecation, and if the condition allows, one can also take systemic intravenous chemotherapy and local radiation therapy to control tumor development.
