Three plus levels of prostate white blood cells can be caused by prostatitis. The more severe the inflammatory infection, the more plus signs will be present. Many patients with prostatitis, by examining the prostate fluid, will find that multiple plus signs appear, indicating that the patient has a prostate inflammatory reaction. There is a relationship between the patient’s prostatitis and a urinary tract infection, where bacteria enter the interior of the prostate with the urine and cause bacterial prostatitis, leading to a gradual increase in the number of white blood cells in the prostate fluid. There are also some patients due to the dysfunction of the urethral sphincter, resulting in sterile urine reflux into the prostate. Long-term sterile urine produces stimulation to the prostate gland, causing aseptic inflammatory reaction of the prostate, and the leukocytes in the prostate fluid will increase. Patients should adhere to the treatment of prostatitis, do not give up halfway, to avoid the recurrence of the condition, may increase the difficulty of treatment of the disease, but also on the patient’s fertility.
