What to do if your eardrum keeps pulsating

Patients whose eardrums keep throbbing are often considered to have a change in pressure in the patient’s middle ear cavity, or it is possible that the patient’s pulsating blood vessels are affecting the patient’s eardrum. Patients are advised not to engage in strenuous activity and to monitor their blood pressure. At the same time, the patient can try to practice pinching and puffing to improve the pressure inside the middle ear cavity, and if necessary, go to the hospital for eustachian tube blowing treatment. If the patient’s tympanic membrane is improved, the patient’s feeling that the eardrum is pulsating all the time should improve to some extent. If the patient’s blood pressure is too high and the pulsation of the blood vessels is obvious, the blood pressure must be actively controlled and the patient’s constant pulsation of the eardrum will be significantly improved after active treatment. If necessary, the patient can also go to the hospital to improve the otoscopy or ear CT to clarify the specific diagnosis before further active symptomatic treatment.
