There are two possibilities for calcified foci in the right kidney, one is a calcified foci within the renal parenchyma, which may be a vascular smooth muscle lipoma. The other possibility is that there are calcified foci in the renal calyces and renal pelvis, which may be small urine crystals or small urinary stones. CT scan and enhancement can be done to effectively diagnose whether the calcified foci are vascular smooth muscle lipoma or tumor, to determine the location and size of the stones, and whether they are causing hydronephrosis. If it is a calcified foci in the renal pelvis, it is recommended to drink more water, which can form more urine, effectively reduce the concentration of stone material in urine, reduce crystal deposition, and promote the discharge of crystals out of the body.
