What to do about ulcers under the tongue

Tongue ulcers are a relatively common type of oral ulcer that can develop on the tip, base and side of the tongue, and can be subdivided into traumatic ulcers and recurrent ulcers according to the type of onset. The base of the tongue ulcers are more insidious and bring more obvious discomfort due to their onset, so people are generally eager to find special drugs or shortcuts to relieve them. For the base of the tongue ulcers should be treated differently according to the cause. The ulcers are usually formed when the surface of the base of the tongue is broken by bite wounds or hard scratches from eating too fast. If it is a recurrent ulcer, it should be taken seriously. Especially if the ulcer does not heal for a long time, or if the area and depth of the ulcer are gradually enlarged, and if you find that the tongue is stiff and has no improvement even after some medication, you need to go to the hospital to rule out the possibility of tongue cancer. Besides, we should pay attention to keep our mouth clean, rinse our mouth regularly, drink more water and keep good resting habits in order to prevent the occurrence of tongue ulcers in our daily life.
