Symptoms of coxal chondritis include localized pain, localized swelling, and limitation of movement. 1. Localized pain: Since costochondritis usually causes the onset of a single rib cartilage, it is usually confined to a specific location, most commonly on the left and right sides of the sternum, i.e. around the pectoralis major muscle. The pain caused by costochondritis is relatively limited, mainly vague in nature, and increases significantly when the patient breathes deeply, coughs, or expands the chest. 2. Localized swelling: Swelling is more pronounced in thinner patients. Swelling around the rib cartilage can be felt at the site of pain. 3. Limitation of activity: The main manifestation of limitation of activity is that the patient is unable to use the upper limbs to bear weight, or unable to carry out activities. In life, we should pay attention to avoid respiratory infections, prevent cold and flu, and pay attention to not exert too much force to avoid ligament injury.
