Do not use any cosmetics on the day of surgery. 5. Female patients should avoid menstruation to avoid the possibility of intraoperative bleeding and postoperative infection. Preparation on the day of strabismus surgery: 1.Surgery day, accompanied by friends and relatives, pre-operative surgery talk signed. 2.Eat a small amount of breakfast in the morning of the surgery, and fast for more than 3-5 hours before the surgery to avoid nausea and vomiting during the surgery, which may affect the surgical effect and lead to postoperative infection. 3.Please do not be overly nervous during the operation, and cooperate with the doctor actively. The discomfort of soreness and swelling of the operated eye will generally occur for 5-10 minutes during the operation, which almost every adult patient can tolerate; if serious discomfort such as chest tightness, panic and cold sweat does occur, please inform the surgeon in time and suspend the operation if necessary. The above phenomena are normal reactions after surgery, the severity and duration of which vary from person to person and can be relieved in 2-5 days. 2, within 48 hours after surgery, ice bags can be used to apply cold compresses to reduce pain and bleeding. Change the medication the day after surgery, and after the medication change, local antibacterial eye drops and eye ointment. The stitches will be removed one week after surgery, and the local medication will continue to be used until 3-4 weeks after surgery. 3, on time eye drops, wash your hands before ordering, do not touch your eyes and hands to avoid contamination of the eye medicine bottle. Use your hand to pull down the eyelid and put in the eye medication. If you need to use more than two kinds of medication, just interval 10-15 minutes. Generally, use Colistin eye drops and Bevacor eye drops during the daytime to spot the surgical eye 4-6 times a day; use Decolone eye ointment at night before bedtime. Note that Bevacor eye drops should be stored under refrigeration. 4, 2 weeks after surgery to minimize eye rotation, the surgical eye is strictly prohibited from external collision, pressure, head down, rubbing eyes, nap and night sleep to lie flat or to the non-surgical eye side, to prevent eye injury. Take care not to let the sewage enter the operated eye when washing face, hair or bathing to prevent infection. 5. Avoid reading books and newspapers for a long time during the recovery period to prevent eye fatigue. When going out to prevent wind and sand, wear glasses, etc. to prevent foreign bodies from entering the eye. Avoid coughing, lifting heavy objects, and strenuous exercise after surgery to prevent intraocular pressure fluctuations. You should stop smoking and drinking, do not eat spicy and irritating food for one month, eat more vegetables and fruits, and keep the bowel movement smooth. 6, after surgery to the hospital as prescribed by the doctor to review, the routine for 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, six months, a year after surgery each.
