Submucous fibroid hysteroscopy may or may not be done cleanly at one time, depending on the fibroid. Submucous fibroids are a type of uterine fibroid, which are fibroids that grow abruptly into the uterine cavity, and most may have symptoms such as irregular vaginal bleeding, increased menstrual flow, and frequent menstrual periods. Submucous fibroids can be treated by hysteroscopic surgery. Generally, for patients with more superficial and well-located fibroids and narrower roots of fibroids are more suitable for hysteroscopic endometrial submucosal fibroid electrolysis, which may remove them more cleanly in one operation. However, for patients with a wider distribution of fibroids, deeper fibroids, and poor location, hysteroscopic surgical resection may not be ideal and a second surgery may be required. Patients with submucosal fibroids are advised to consult a professional doctor for standardized diagnosis and treatment.
