What causes your hands to tingle while you sleep

Numbness of the hands while sleeping may be caused by physiological factors, but also may be caused by cervical spondylosis, carpal tunnel syndrome and so on.
1. Physiological factors: If the hands are pressed by the body for a long time during sleep, resulting in poor blood circulation in the hands, it may cause numbness in both hands, which can be relieved soon after the pressure is lifted.
2. Cervical spondylosis: If there is a history of cervical spondylosis, at night when sleeping due to improper sleeping posture, resulting in local nerve root compression or spinal cord compression, numbness of the hands can occur.
3. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome: This disease can lead to numbness of the hands caused by pressure on the median nerve. Especially at night when you sleep, if you sleep in an incorrect position, or the wrist position in the over-flexion position, it is likely to aggravate the pressure on the median nerve, hand numbness symptoms can occur during sleep.
