At present, surgery is the most effective method to treat small intestinal tumors. The scope of surgery should be decided according to the location, nature and relationship with surrounding organs of the tumor. Specifically: 1. benign small intestinal tumors: for small intestinal hemangioma, the purpose of surgery is to treat the comorbidities caused by the tumor, and removal of the diseased intestinal segment is sufficient; most small intestinal lipomas do not affect normal life and can be removed without consideration of surgery; 2. small intestinal mesenchymal tumor and small intestinal cancer require removal of the diseased intestinal segment, and postoperative follow-up treatment plan is formulated according to pathological results.
