How to push a child’s cough

Children coughing can rub danzhong (located in the chest, horizontal flat 4th rib space, anterior midline), gently massage the spine, rub bilateral lung Yu (located in the spine area, the 3rd thoracic vertebrae under the spinous process, the posterior midline next to the opening of 1.5 inches) and so on.
Cough is a common pulmonary disorder in pediatrics. The techniques of massage include pushing from the root of the child’s ring finger to the end of the finger 100 times; rubbing the danzhong 100 times; rubbing the bilateral wind gate (located in the spinal region, under the spinous process of the 2nd thoracic vertebra, 1.5 inches away from the posterior midline) 100 times with both fingers; gently moving the spine, 3 to 5 times from the top; rubbing the bilateral lungs 100 times, and so on.
It should be noted that coughs caused by tumors, foreign bodies in the airway, and tuberculosis are not suitable for the use of tuina techniques.
If your child has symptoms of cough, it is recommended to go to the hospital for medical treatment. Please do not use Tuina manipulation on your own, and have your child treated by a professional doctor.
