Dietary contraindications for patients with repetitive malformations of the stomach

  Gastric duplication malformation, also known as double stomach, is extremely rare clinically and accounts for approximately 9% of the total GI malformations. The incidence of this disease has been reported in isolated cases, and the incidence in the population is unknown. According to available data, the disease is more common in children and adolescents, with slightly more women than men.  Patients with repetitive malformations of the stomach are advised to eat foods that are easily digested and absorbed; foods that protect the gastric mucosa; and foods rich in high-quality protein. Avoid eating foods that produce gas; such as onions, sweet potatoes, taro; foods that are difficult to digest; such as dumplings, glutinous rice, green beans; spicy and stimulating foods; such as ginger, chili, pepper, pepper. The following foods are recommended to eat less or not: 1, sweet potato Sweet potato is a food that is easy to produce gas, resulting in gastric distension, easily aggravate the symptoms of acute gastric dilatation, is not conducive to the recovery of patients. It is advisable to eat food that does not produce gas.  2, green beans Green beans are difficult to digest food, easily lead to gastrointestinal peristalsis slowdown, leading to increased gastric dilatation, is not conducive to the recovery of patients. It is appropriate to eat easily digestible food.  3, chili pepper is a spicy food, easy to stimulate the gastric mucosa, leading to gastric mucosa congestion swelling edema, aggravate the symptoms of gastric dilatation, is not conducive to the recovery of patients. It is advisable to eat light and easily digestible food.
