Can patchouli and hexamethonium pills be taken together?

Patchouli Zhengqi Shui and Liuwei Di Huang Pills should not be taken together, because Liuwei Di Huang Pills contain tonic herbs, while Patchouli Zhengqi Shui should not be taken with tonic herbs.
1. Patchouli Zhenqi Shui is composed of raw half-summer, Chenpi, Cangzhu, patchouli oil and Angelica dahurica. Its function is to relieve the surface and eliminate dampness (relieving the evils of external sensation and getting rid of the dampness in the body), regulate qi and neutralize the middle (regulating the qi of the spleen and stomach to make the functions of the spleen and stomach smooth).
It is used for treating colds and flu caused by external wind-cold and internal dampness stagnation (stagnation of dampness in the body due to overly cold diet, etc.), with symptoms such as chest and diaphragm constriction, distension and pain in the epigastric region (stomach and abdomen), headache and heaviness, vomiting and diarrhea. It is not advisable to take tonic Chinese medicines at the same time.
2. Six-flavored Dihuang Pill is composed of Chinese yam, cornelian cherry, ripened rhizome and poria, which can nourish yin and tonify the kidney. It can be used for treating kidney yin deficiency, lumbago, dizziness, spermatorrhea, bone vaporization and tidal fever (a burst of heat, feeling that the heat comes from inside the bone to the outside), night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, and sweating stops after waking up), and so on. The adverse reactions and contraindications of this product are not known.
LIU WEI DI HUANG PILL contains nourishing Chinese medicines such as ripened dihuang and wine cornelian meat, and should not be taken with patchouli zhengqi water. If you feel unwell, please seek medical advice. The above medicines should be used under the guidance of a doctor, and should not be used blindly on your own to avoid delaying the condition or causing adverse effects.
