What causes dry and rough heels

The condition of dry and rough heels is considered to be related to dry skin, excessive friction, and tinea pedis disease.
1. Dry skin: some people may be due to long-term exposure to the sun, coupled with the lack of attention to skin moisturizing care, it is easy to cause the symptoms of dry and rough heels.
2. Excessive friction: for people who often do heavy physical work, the heel area may be subjected to long-term friction, resulting in epidermal cell dehydration, and then there will be dry and rough symptoms.
3. Tinea pedis: this is caused by ringworm infection, which usually colonizes the skin and causes dry and rough heels, keratinization of the skin, increased scaling and peeling, dryness and cracking, accompanied by itching, burning and pain.
