What is the difference between Echuju Pills and Echuju Bohol Pills?



Yueju Pills and Yueju Boho Pills are different in terms of drug composition and main treatment.

Composition: Echuju Pill consists of Xiangshu (vinegar), Chuanxiong (rhizoma ligustici), fried gardenia, Cangzhu (fried), and Liushenqu (fried). Echuju Boho Pill consists of Gardenia jasminoides (made of ginger), Liushenqu (fried), Xiangshu (made of vinegar), Ligusticum chuanxiong, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Mucuna pruriens and Betel nut.

Indications: Yueju Pills are used for the treatment of chest and epigastric constipation, abdominal distension, dietary stagnation, belching (hiccups) and acid swallowing (swallowing the acid in the stomach that goes up to the oropharynx). Yue Ju Bao He Wan is used to treat stomach pain caused by stagnation of qi and food, which is characterized by distension and pain in the epigastrium (abdomen), nausea (lack of appetite, reduced food intake), low food intake, and irregular bowel movements (abnormal bowel movements).
