The generic name of the drug is Dulaglutide Injection, which is to be administered by subcutaneous injection into a site of choice, either the abdomen, thighs or upper arms, and not intravenously or intramuscularly. The active ingredient in Dulaglutide Injection is Dulaglutide, which is indicated for use once weekly in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus that is not well controlled by diet and exercise therapy alone. Common adverse reactions to Dulaglutide include nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, which are usually mild or moderate. Dulaglutide is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to the active ingredient or any excipients of the product, in patients with a personal past or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma, and in patients with type 2 multiple endocrine adenoma syndrome. Dulaglutide should be injected under medical supervision.
