On breast examination, bilateral axillary lymph nodes are enlarged and grade 1 gated blood flow signal is seen within them, indicating that the axillary lymph nodes are rich in blood flow signal and that there is inflammation or cancer cells present in the lymph nodes.
There are many reasons for the rich blood flow signal in axillary lymph nodes, which may be caused by lymph node inflammation, lymphoma or metastasis of malignant tumor. If there is localized inflammation in the lymph nodes, blood flow will increase and the lymph nodes may appear to increase in size over a short period of time.
Abundant blood flow signal in axillary lymph nodes may also be caused by primary or secondary tumors of the lymph nodes. Primary tumors of the lymph nodes, such as lymphoma, can lead to enlargement and blood flow enrichment of the axillary lymph nodes as well as lymph nodes throughout the body. In the case of metastasis from tumors in other parts of the body, such as breast cancer and gastrointestinal cancer, the manifestation of enlarged and blood-rich axillary lymph nodes will also occur.
If axillary lymph nodes are found to be enlarged and accompanied by abundant blood flow signals during examination, it is necessary to consult a doctor in time for further examination to clarify the cause of axillary lymph node enlargement and abundant blood flow for further treatment.
