The possible causes of incisor stinging pain are dentin sensitivity, pulpitis, cryptic fracture, etc., as follows.
1. Dentin sensitivity: Because of dentin exposure caused by enamel destruction or gum recession, teeth may have a tingling sensation when subjected to hot, cold, sweet and sour, mechanical stimulation.
2. Pulpitis: In the acute stage of pulpitis, the teeth will have characteristic spontaneous pain, i.e. the teeth may feel tingling even without any stimulation.
3. Cracked tooth: If a tooth is cracked and you bite on the crack when biting, you will feel a tingling sensation accordingly.
There may be other reasons for incisor pain. If the pain is severe or accompanied by other symptoms, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time.
