Most of the myopia of 450 degrees belongs to true myopia. For this condition, there are three main methods of treatment: the first one, wearing frames, which is the most classic and most applied one. The second type, corneal contact lenses, commonly known as contact lenses, includes soft corneal contact lenses and rigid corneal contact lenses. Rigid corneal contact lenses are divided into keratoplasty and RGP, which are currently more effective in controlling myopia in adolescents. The third type, surgical treatment, includes corneal refractive surgery and intraocular refractive surgery, such as common excimer laser surgery and femtosecond laser surgery, which requires the age of at least 18 years old and the refractive error has been stabilized for more than two years.
