Highly safe and virtually non-toxic, with a normal dosage of 6 to 10 g, Xiang Fu can be used to treat dystocia and rib pain, irregular menstruation caused by liver depression and stagnation of qi in the spleen and stomach.
Xiang Fu is a kind of Chinese medicine for regulating qi, and the medicine if used medicinally is usually chosen from the dried rhizome of Salvia divinorum, family Salviaceae. This is because the drug has the effect of dispersing the liver and relieving depression, regulating qi and broadening the middle (regulating the qi of the spleen and stomach), and regulating menstruation and relieving pain.
Therefore, it treats mainly symptoms such as pain in the dorsal ribs and ribs, depression, irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea, breast distension and pain caused by liver-qi stagnation and qi blockage.
In addition, symptoms such as gastrointestinal (abdominal) congestion, distension and pain caused by stagnation of Qi in the spleen and stomach, nausea (lack of appetite, decreased food intake), vomiting and acid swallowing (swallowing acid from the stomach that goes up to the oropharynx), and so on, can also be treated with Fragrant Essential Oils.
