What’s wrong with dry and cracked feet?

Dry cracked skin on the feet is most commonly seen clinically as chancroid eczema. The formation of chapped eczema is due to local dryness, which is caused by repeated local cleaning and excessive use of toiletries by the patient. It may also be that the patient’s feet are congenitally sweaty, or that the oil secretion function of the feet is diminished, so it causes dry and chapped feet. It may also be allergic dermatitis formed by repeated local allergies, resulting in dry and cracked feet with skin. It may also be secondary to an infection in the area, most commonly a fungal infection that causes dry tinea pedis. This type of tinea pedis is primarily a fungal infection that causes a local inflammatory reaction. Repeated attacks can also cause damage to the cuticle, resulting in peeling and dry cracking.
