Glucose in gestational diabetes should be satisfactorily controlled by the standard that the pregnant woman has no significant hunger. In gestational diabetes, the pre-meal glucose as well as fasting glucose should be controlled between 3.3-5.3 mmol/L. The 2-hour post-meal glucose should be controlled between 4.4-6.7 mmol/L. When checking the glycosylated hemoglobin, it is usually not necessary to check the blood sugar. When checking glycosylated hemoglobin, it is usually at 5.5%. In patients with gestational combined diabetes, blood glucose control is relatively lenient and should be controlled between 3.3-5.6mmol/L before meal and 5.6-7.1mmol/L after meal. Whether it is gestational diabetes or combined gestational diabetes, if the blood sugar still cannot reach the ideal state after diet control, insulin is needed to control the blood sugar to a satisfactory level in order to achieve a healthy mother and child.
