The side of the corner of the mouth at the jawbone with a deep line may be physiological factors, may also be the manifestation of certain diseases, such as oral mucosal fibrosis, oral leukoplakia, jawbone tumors, should be timely consultation to identify the cause.
1. Physiological factors: the corners of the mouth at the side of the jawbone with a line of lines may be palatal folds, located in the front of the palate, radial distribution to the sides, manifested as a line, belongs to the normal anatomical structure, do not need to be nervous and deal with.
2. Pathologic factors:
(1) Oral mucosal fibrosis: mainly caused by smoking, chewing betel and other adverse stimuli, mostly occurring in the soft palate, the lesion early manifestation of blisters and ulcers, followed by the progression of white mottling, as well as the emergence of fibrous cords, manifested as the corners of the mouth side of the lines, accompanied by pain symptoms.
(2) Oral leukoplakia: the occurrence of oral leukoplakia is mainly related to smoking, chewing betel, low immunity and other factors, which is manifested as a line on the side of the jaw bone at the corner of the mouth, accompanied by pain symptoms.
(3) Tumor of jawbone: If there is a tumor in the patient’s upper jaw, which causes limited protrusion, it can also manifest as a symptom of a stripe on the jawbone.
