It is possible that although the incidence of breast enlargement in men is lower than in women, the possibility of the disease cannot be ruled out and the clinical presentation is basically the same as in female patients. Nodules or lumps may be palpable in the breast, the nipple areola is enlarged and darkened, local pain or tenderness, and in a few patients a white discharge may appear when the nipple is squeezed, but the main symptoms are fullness of the chest, protrusion of the breast and darkening of the nipple.
