Symptoms of Yang and Yin Decline

Symptoms of yangheng yin failure include hot flashes (a burst of heat), zygomatic redness (reddening of the cheeks and zygomatic bones), night sweating (abnormal sweating after going to sleep, but sweating stops after waking up), and five heartburns and heat (heat in the hearts of the hands and feet, and self-consciousness about the heat in the chest and the heart), and so on. Symptoms of Yang Sheng Yin Failure include hot flashes, zygomatic redness, night sweating, heat in the heart, coughing up blood, loss of weight or insomnia, irritability, or spermatorrhea, hypersexuality, red and dry tongue, and a fine pulse (a pulse that becomes narrower and finer and quicker in rate), and so on. Patients with yang-sheng and yin-weakening should avoid eating fatty, sweet and thick flavors, spicy and stimulating, raw and cold foods, and avoid dog meat, mutton and other hot and dry foods.
