Grade 2 hypertension criteria

Grade 2 hypertension is defined as blood pressure with systolic blood pressure in the range of 160-179mmHg or diastolic blood pressure in the range of 100-109mmHg. Grade 2 hypertension is also known as moderate hypertension, and simple lifestyle control for patients with grade 2 hypertension is generally not able to restore the blood pressure to the normal level.
